Special Weather Statement issued December 30 at 4:14AM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

Wind chills as cold as -55F are expected to persist through at
least Tuesday. There is also the potential for blowing snow
beginning Monday evening for the Western Arctic Coast and Tuesday
morning for the Eastern Arctic Coast. East winds will gust up to
30 mph at times through Wednesday.
