Winter Storm Watch issued December 30 at 2:12PM EST until January 5 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
of at least one foot possible in the heaviest and most persistent
snow.

* WHERE…Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties.

* WHEN…From Wednesday morning through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A general snowfall behind a departing low
pressure system will bring widespread light to moderate snow
amounts Wednesday, with the greatest amounts falling over the
higher elevations of southern Erie and Crawford Counties. The snow
will transition to lake effect snow squalls Wednesday night, with
the lake effect snow persisting off and on through Sunday.
