Winter Weather Advisory issued December 30 at 12:24PM CST until December 31 at 6:00AM CST by NWS Hastings NE

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 35 to 40 mph.

* WHERE…Greeley, Merrick, Nance, and Polk Counties.

* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Rain is forecast to quickly change to snow
this evening, with brief bursts of moderate to heavy snow rates
possible between 8pm and midnight as winds increase out of the
north-northwest. Temperatures falling into the mid to upper 20s
late overnight could also add to slick conditions.
