…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana…
White River at Elliston.
.Today’s rainfall of a quarter inch to an inch combined with weekend
rainfall amounts of around an inch and a half to over two inches
will keep river levels elevated and could bring some minor flooding
along lower portions of the White and Seymour on the East Fork
White. Additional minor flooding is possible along portions of the
Wabash later in the week but confidence is lower there.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…White River at Elliston.
* WHEN…Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, River approaching River Road north of CR
150 W in Greene County. Some low lying agricultural land begins
to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:29 AM EST Tuesday the stage was 16.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to 18.6 feet Thursday morning. It will then
fall below flood stage early Friday morning to 12.3 feet
Sunday morning. It will rise to 12.6 feet early Sunday
afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood
stage.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
