* WHEN…From 4 AM Wednesday to 1 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions along the I-68/US-40 corridors from La Vale, MD west
toward Frostburg, MD and down along the US-220 corridor west of
Keyser, WV and Franklin, WV to just west of of Monterey, VA. The
hazardous conditions could impact holiday travel. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Rain will change to snow late tonight above
3,000 feet and by early Wednesday morning for the rest of the
area. Snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour are possible at times
through Wednesday evening especially in embedded snow squalls that
pass through.
