Winter Storm Watch issued January 1 at 2:59PM EST until January 5 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT…For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow
through Thursday evening. Additional snow accumulations between 4
and 7 inches through Thursday. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy
lake effect snow possible Friday through the weekend. Total snow
accumulations between 7 and 10 inches possible Friday through the
weekend.

* WHERE…Ashtabula Inland County.

* WHEN…For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, until 7 PM EST Thursday.
For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday morning through Sunday
morning.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Lake effect snow will develop this evening
and continue overnight into Thursday, bringing heavy snow bands
and higher snowfall rates. The lake-effect snow is expected to
shift north of the area for a time on Thursday afternoon and night
before additional periods of lake-effect snow return for Friday
through the weekend.
