Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 1 at 11:39PM EST until January 2 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT…For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow.
Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, especially in the
northern-half of the county. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy
lake effect snow possible. Additional snow accumulations of at
least 6 inches possible in the heaviest and most-persistent snow.

* WHERE…Inland Ashtabula County.

* WHEN…For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, until 7 PM EST Thursday.
For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday morning through Sunday
morning.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult at times due to slippery
road conditions and poor visibility. The hazardous conditions may
impact the morning and evening commutes on Thursday and Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Lake effect snow will continue into Thursday.
The lake effect snow may shift north of the area for a time on
Thursday afternoon and night before additional periods of lake
effect snow return for Friday through this weekend.
