Special Weather Statement issued January 2 at 2:16PM EST by NWS Northern Indiana

A fast moving area of light snow is expected to move into many
areas, especially along and south of Route 30. This will arrive
mainly after the afternoon commute and linger into the early
overnight hours as it moves east. The highest accumulation’s, on
the order of 1 to 2 inches, appears most likely along and south of
route 24 with lesser amounts north.

If driving tonight, use caution when encountering snow covered
roads.
