Light snow is expected across the area this afternoon into
early this evening. Snow amounts up to around 1 inch are
expected, with some higher amounts of near 2 inches possible near
and north of a line from Fairfield, Iowa to Monmouth, Illinois.
Untreated roads could become slippery especially by late afternoon
into this evening as temperatures drop below freezing. Exercise
caution if driving across the area this afternoon and evening, and
plan for a little extra time to reach your destination.
