Winter Storm Watch issued January 1 at 11:39PM EST until January 5 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
of at least 6 inches possible in the heaviest and most-persistent
snow.

* WHERE…Medina, Portage, Summit, and Trumbull Counties.

* WHEN…From Friday morning through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult due to slippery road
conditions and poor visibility. The hazardous conditions may
impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Widespread snow showers will move into the
area late Thursday night or Friday morning before transitioning to
lake effect snow by Friday evening. Periods of lake effect snow
will continue through the weekend.
