Winter Storm Watch issued January 2 at 1:42PM MST until January 5 at 6:00PM MST by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 3 and 6 inches. For the Winter Storm Watch,
heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations in excess of 6
inches possible.

* WHERE…Northeastern Yellowstone, Treasure, Custer, and Northern
Rosebud.

* WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to
11 PM MST Friday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday evening
through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions and poor visibility.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and
evening commutes. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses,
will likely become slick and hazardous. Interstate I-94 will be
impacted so use caution.
