…SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND…

* WHAT…Light freezing drizzle, snow, and blowing snow possible.
Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches and ice
accumulations around a light glaze possible.

* WHERE…Portions of north central Kansas and east central and
south central Nebraska.

* WHEN…From Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Roads will likely become slick and hazardous.
Visibilities may drop below 1/2 mile due to falling and blowing
snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Northerly winds will gradually increase on
Saturday to 10 to 20 MPH, with gusts up to 30 MPH, and persist
through most of Sunday.
