Winter Weather Advisory issued January 2 at 2:52PM EST until January 4 at 10:00AM EST by NWS State College PA

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6
inches, with the highest amounts on the ridgetops west of Somerset
and Johnstown. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph Friday night and
Saturday.

* WHERE…Cambria and Somerset Counties.

* WHEN…From 5 AM Friday to 10 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…An enhancement to the snowfall will occur
between 6 AM EST and Noon on Friday as a fast-moving storm passes
through. Snowfall rates during that time may peak around 1 inch
per hour.
