Cold Weather Advisory issued January 3 at 5:16AM AKST until January 4 at 12:00PM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Very cold temperatures as low as 45 below Lower Kuskokwim
Valley, from Stony River to Lime Village.

* WHERE…Lower Kuskokwim Valley, from Sleetmute to Lime Village.

* WHEN…Until noon AKST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Frigid windchill is forecast as air
temperatures drop as low as 20 to 30 below and northerly wind
gusts as high as 30 mph. The coldest windchill temperatures are
expected expected Friday morning and from Friday night through
Saturday morning.
