Snow showers are expected through early this evening across the
Washington Metropolitan area. Localized bursts of heavier snow
showers are possible most likely through 6 PM, where visibility
may be reduced to near one-quarter mile and snowfall will coat
roadways.
Precipitation will end early this evening, and temperatures will
fall below freezing between 7 PM and 9 PM. Any standing water or
slushy roads will freeze.
