Winter Storm Warning issued January 3 at 10:34AM CST until January 5 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Dodge City KS

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Saturday will have
freezing drizzle and Sunday will have snow and blowing snow. Total
snow and sleet accumulations between 5 and 9 inches and ice
accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as
45 mph.

* WHERE…Ellis, Rush, Pawnee, and Stafford Counties.

* WHEN…From noon Saturday to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel is not advised on
Sunday.
