Winter Storm Warning issued January 3 at 2:34PM EST until January 4 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Blacksburg VA

* WHAT…For the current Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow.
Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Winds
gusting as high as 45 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch starting
Sunday, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations between 3 and 6 inches and ice accumulations up to
four tenths of an inch possible.

* WHERE…Western Greenbrier County.

* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 AM EST Saturday. For
the Winter Storm Watch, from Sunday morning through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS…Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the
ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. Gusty winds could bring
down tree branches. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses,
will likely become slick and hazardous.
