Winter Weather Advisory issued January 3 at 11:52AM CST until January 5 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Goodland KS

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
between 3 and 7 inches and a light glaze of ice accumulation.
North winds at 15 to 25 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska.

* WHEN…From noon Saturday to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Hazardous travel conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Precipitation may begin as light freezing
rain or sleet Saturday afternoon. Precipitation will transition
to snow Saturday evening. Moderate to occasionally heavy snow and
blowing snow are expected late Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Snow will end from west to east Sunday afternoon. Wind chill
temperatures as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero are expected
Sunday morning. Locations east of Highway 83 will see the greatest
amount of snow accumulation.
