inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…In Maryland, Extreme Western Allegany County. In Virginia,
Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Mineral County.

* WHEN…Until midnight EST tonight.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions on I-68 and US-40 west
of La Vale, MD, US-50 west of New Creek, WV, and US-250 west of
Hightown, VA. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree
branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heavy snow squalls and strong winds may lead
to localized and brief near-blizzard conditions this afternoon and
evening.
