with locally higher amounts along the Tennessee border. Winds
gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE…Avery County.

* WHEN…Until midnight EST tonight.

* IMPACTS…The snow will create snow covered roads and produce
scattered power outages. The hazardous conditions could impact the
Friday evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
