Flood Warning issued January 4 at 9:43AM CST until January 14 at 6:00AM CST by NWS Little Rock AR

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas…

White River At Clarendon affecting Arkansas and Monroe Counties.

Cache River Near Patterson affecting Jackson and Woodruff
Counties.

White River At Augusta affecting White and Woodruff Counties.

For the Lower White River…including Newport, Augusta, Georgetown,
Des Arc, Clarendon…Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Cache River…including Patterson…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…White River at Clarendon.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday, January 14.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, Maddox Bay off Highway 146 will be closed
off due to high water. Closure of specific flood prone regions as
determined by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Some of this area
may include the Mike Freeze Wattensaw WMA…Benson Creek Natural
Area WMA and the Sheffield Nelson Dagmar WMA.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CST Saturday the stage was 26.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.1
feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
Monday, January 13.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
