Very dry high pressure will build into into the area today,
resulting in relative humidity dropping into the 15 to 20% range
across much of northeast Georgia this afternoon. Winds increasing
to 10 to 15 mph this afternoon along with drying vegetation will
enhance the potential for start and spread of wildfire across the
area through the afternoon.
Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn today. If you do burn, use extreme caution since
fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
