…HEAVY SNOW ACROSS THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE…
.For Yakutat, lulls in the snow will continue through this
evening, otherwise snow showers over the area are expected to
continue through the day with very dry and fluffy snow. For the
winter storm warnings and advisories, a warm front is expected to
move northward Saturday night, bringing snow for Juneau and
Gustavus and up to the Klondike and Haines Highways. Warming
temperatures will push northward Sunday through Monday causing a
change to rain. Timing issues are complicating the change over
times. A separate front will bring heavy rain and upper elevation
snow to the region Monday night through Tuesday.

inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE…Glacier Bay and City and Borough of Juneau.
* WHEN…From 3 AM Sunday to midnight AKST Sunday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snowfall will be heaviest Saturday night
into Sunday morning. Precipitation change over to rain timing
may vary leading to different snowfall totals.
