Winter Weather Advisory issued January 4 at 1:27PM EST until January 5 at 6:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 2 to 4
inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as
35 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Allegany County. The greatest additional accumulations
will be across the higher terrain in the western portion of the
county.

* WHEN…Until 6 PM EST Sunday. The majority of the additional
accumulations will be this afternoon through this evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult at times with snow covered
roads and poor visibility.
