High Wind Watch issued January 6 at 11:58AM AKST until January 8 at 3:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…For the Wind Advisory, south winds 30 to 45 mph with
gusts up to 65 mph expected. For the High Wind Watch, south
winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 80 mph possible.

* WHERE…Eastern Alaska Range North of Trims Camp.

* WHEN…For the Wind Advisory, until 3 PM AKST Monday. For the
High Wind Watch, from late Monday night through Wednesday
afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power
lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
