Special Weather Statement issued January 6 at 5:15PM EST by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI

The snow showers are forecast to come to an end between 6 PM and 8
PM. However, some untreated roads will be snow covered and slick
this evening as temperatures hover in the lower 20s. Driver should
be alert to slick roads, slow down and allow plenty of room
between you and the vehicle in front of you.
