Wind Advisory issued January 5 at 3:46PM CST until January 6 at 9:00AM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX

* WHAT…For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with
gusts up to 40 mph. For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 32 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory,
very cold wind chills as low as 17 expected.

* WHERE…Bolivar Peninsula, Brazoria Islands, Galveston Island, and
Matagorda Islands Counties.

* WHEN…For the Wind Advisory, until 9 AM CST Monday. For the
Freeze Warning, from midnight tonight to 9 AM CST Monday. For the
Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight tonight to 11 AM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive
vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
