Wind Advisory issued January 6 at 2:39PM MST until January 8 at 12:00AM MST by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…For the Wind Advisory, east winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts
up to 55 mph expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold
wind chills as low as -3 above expected.

* WHERE…Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
Area.

* WHEN…For the Wind Advisory, from 5 PM Tuesday to midnight MST
Tuesday Night. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight
Tuesday Night to 8 AM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects resulting
in bitter cold wind chills in the single-digits to below 0. Tree
limbs may be blown down. Expect strong crosswinds on area roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The potential exists for up to one inch of
snow in the Rio Grande Valley. Blowing snow may produce lowered
visibility as well.
