Winter Storm Watch issued January 6 at 1:20PM MST until January 8 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Ground blizzard conditions possible. Westerly winds 30 to
40 mph, with gusts up to 75 mph possible.

* WHERE…The Rocky Mountain Front and adjacent foothills and
plains, and Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera
Counties.

* WHEN…From Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Blowing and drifting snow may cause ground blizzard
conditions, partial to full roadway blockages due to snow drifts,
and hazardous to impossible travel. Plan for potential road
closures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Westerly winds increase as early as Tuesday
afternoon, with the strongest winds and worst conditions expected
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
