Winter Weather Advisory issued January 6 at 1:39PM AKST until January 7 at 6:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
of 6 to 12 inches and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of
an inch.

* WHERE…Copper River Basin.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM AKST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Highest snow totals are expected along
the Glenn Highway from Glacier View to Tolsona and along the
Richardson Highway from the Edgerton Highway intersection
south to Thompson Pass. Highest ice totals are expected along
the Edgerton Highway and Richardson Highway south of the
Edgerton intersection.
