High Wind Warning issued January 7 at 12:58PM MST until January 8 at 8:00PM MST by NWS Cheyenne WY

* WHAT…West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 58 mph expected.

* WHERE…Bordeaux area along Interstate 25 between Chugwater and
Wheatland.

* WHEN…From 2 AM to 8 PM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
campers and tractor trailers. In addition, areas of blowing snow
could lead to reduced visibility, even whiteout conditions, and
slick roads.

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * WHERE...Esmeralda and Central Nye County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be a lull in winds for a few hours Thursday night before the strongest winds return Friday morning.
