Winter Weather Advisory issued January 7 at 11:39AM MST until January 8 at 12:00PM MST by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Areas of blowing snow expected. Southwest to west winds
gusting 40 to 55 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of central and south central Montana.

* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to noon MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…The combination of gusty crosswinds, slick roads and
reduced visibility in blowing snow will make travel difficult.
This includes I-90 from Big Timber to Livingston, and US-191 from
Big Timber to Harlowton and Judith Gap. Some rural roads may
become impassable due to drifting snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The risk of blowing snow will decrease by
midday Wednesday as temperatures rise above freezing.
