Winter Weather Advisory issued January 7 at 6:32PM EST until January 8 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Binghamton NY

* WHAT…Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations up to two
inches, mainly over northern portions of Broome and Tioga
counties. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will create areas of
blowing snow in exposed locations.

* WHERE…Broome and Tioga Counties.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Narrow bands of snow will continue to stream
off the Finger Lakes, with the most persistent snow expected over
the northern portions and high elevations of the counties.
