Winter Storm Warning issued January 8 at 2:22PM CST until January 10 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Shreveport LA

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations up 2-8 inches and ice accumulations up to a quarter
of an inch.

* WHERE…Portions of south central and southwest Arkansas,
northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, and northeast Texas.

* WHEN…From 6 AM Thursday to noon CST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. The strong winds and weight of
snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic
power outages. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
