Winter Storm Watch issued January 8 at 3:28PM EST until January 11 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Morristown TN

* WHAT…Heavy snow and mixed precipitation possible. Widespread
snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches with up to 6 inches
possible. Mixture of sleet and freezing rain possible south of
I-40 up to the foothills of the Appalachians.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest North Carolina, east Tennessee, and
southwest Virginia.

* WHEN…From Friday morning through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.
