Cold Weather Advisory issued January 9 at 3:19PM MST until January 10 at 9:00AM MST by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below expected across
the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and as low as 10 below across the
adjacent highlands and upper Rio Grande Valley. Elsewhere, wind
chills as low as 5 below expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central, north central, northeast, and west
central New Mexico.

* WHEN…From 11 PM this evening to 9 AM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS…The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if
unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
