High Surf Advisory issued January 10 at 2:14PM EST until January 11 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL

* WHAT…For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents
expected. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of
4 to 9 feet expected in the surf zone.

* WHERE…Walton, Bay, and Gulf County Beaches.

* WHEN…For the High Rip Current Risk, from 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/
this morning through Sunday afternoon. For the High Surf
Advisory, from 11 AM EST /10 AM CST/ this morning to 9 AM EST
/8 AM CST/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
