Winter Weather Advisory issued January 10 at 3:06PM MST until January 12 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Rain and freezing rain are expected through late tonight,
changing to snow by Saturday morning. Periods of snow will occur
through Saturday night. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 6
inches with locally higher amounts in northwest Powder River
County. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of south central and southeast Montana.

* WHEN…Until 5 AM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
evening commute.
