locally up to 15 inches in the upper Cottonwoods.
* WHERE…The Wasatch Mountains, Western Uinta Mountains, and
Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs.
* WHEN…From 11 PM this evening to 8 PM MST Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Visibilities may be significantly reduced due to falling
and blowing snow, especially along Logan Summit. Winter driving
conditions are expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…An area of lake enhanced snow is currently
forecast to develop south and east of the Great Salt Lake,
impacting the Cottonwoods early Saturday morning, gradually
shifting toward western Salt Lake County and eastern Tooele County
through the morning. If this does not occur, or the residence time
is less than forecast, the upper values of the forecast range are
unlikely to occur.
