Yesterday’s cold front will continue to move through the Peninsula bringing isolated showers across West-Central and South Florida (30-40% chance of rain).
Lingering moisture behind the cold front across the Big Bend and Northeast Florida will allow for spotty to isolated showers during the morning hours before drier air moves in behind the front (15-25% chance of rain).
Breezy wind gusts of 15-25 mph will develop throughout the day both behind and ahead of the cold front.
High temperatures in the middle to upper 40s and low 50s will be reached across North Florida near midday.
Central Florida has already seen their high temperature for the day in the upper 50s to middle 60s or will see these temperatures in the next couple of hours.
South Florida will see high temperatures in the upper 60s to middle 70s this afternoon.
Sprinkles and spotty rain showers may linger in the evening across the southern Peninsula and the Keys, but overall mostly dry conditions can be expected overnight (5-10% chance of rain).
Clearing skies and light winds will allow for patchy to widespread frost to develop early Sunday morning throughout interior Northeast Florida; A Frost Advisory has been issued.
Low temperatures in the middle to upper 20s and low 30s can be expected across North Florida, with low temperatures in the low to middle 30s along the coast, can be expected.
Freeze Warnings have been issued throughout portions of the Panhandle for hard freeze conditions (as low as 24-degrees) and across Northeast Florida (low temperatures in the upper 20s).
Slightly elevated winds and clear skies will allow for wind chill values in the low 20sto low 30s throughout North Florida.
Cold Weather Advisories have been issued for portions of the Panhandle for wind chills as low as 20-21-degrees.
Breezy post-frontal winds and lingering ocean swells will create a moderate tohigh risk for rip currents statewide.
