Winter Storm Warning issued January 11 at 12:16PM MST until January 12 at 6:00PM MST by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow. Total snow accumulations
between 10 and 16 inches, with locally heavier accumulations over
20 inches possible. Greatest amounts will be along west and
northwest facing slopes. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph today.

* WHERE…Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.

* WHEN…Until 6 PM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Recreation in the high country will be impacted by heavy
snowfall and significant blowing and drifting snow. Expect
avalanche danger to increase due to the heavy snow and strong
winds.
