Winter Storm Warning issued January 11 at 1:37PM MST until January 12 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 5 inches
across lower elevations near the Idaho border, 5 to 10 inches in
the Tobacco Root Mountains and Gravelly Range, and 10 to 18 inches
in the Madison and Gallatin Ranges. Isolated amounts approaching
22 inches are possible in northerly upslope favored locations of
the Gallatin Range. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial
Mountains.

* WHEN…Until 5 PM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be
required for some vehicles. Areas of blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility.
