Winter Weather Advisory issued January 11 at 12:56PM AKST until January 13 at 3:00AM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 2
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will reduce visibility
to one half mile or less.

* WHERE…Northern Arctic Coast.

* WHEN…From noon Sunday to 3 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on difficult travel conditions. Areas of blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills
as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in
as little as 30 minutes.
