.A large long-period northwest swell will build in quickly Monday
morning and produce large breaking waves along exposed north and
west facing shores. The swell is expected to peak Monday
afternoon or evening then gradually decline through midweek.

* WHAT…Surf heights of 15 to 20 feet along north facing shores
and 12 to 16 feet along west facing shores.

* WHERE…North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,
Molokai, and north facing shores of Maui.

* WHEN…From 6 AM Monday to 6 PM HST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming and surfing dangerous.
