Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 12 at 10:03PM EST until January 15 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 1
to 2 feet in the most persistent lake snows.

* WHERE…The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The greatest
accumulations will focus on the Tug Hill region of southern
Jefferson, northern Oswego, and western Lewis counties.

* WHEN…From 4 PM Monday to 1 PM EST Wednesday. The heaviest snow
and greatest impact to travel is expected to be late Monday night
through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult with very poor visibility
and deep snow cover on roads. The hazardous conditions will impact
the Monday evening and Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
