Special Weather Statement issued January 12 at 3:27PM EST by NWS Raleigh NC

Temperatures today allowed for additional melting of snow and
ice. The snow and ice that did melt created runoff that will
quickly freeze this evening. The temperatures will fall below 32
between sunset and 800 PM. Be extra cautious especially when
walking or driving on sidewalks, parking lots, bridges and
overpasses tonight through Monday morning.
