…HEAVY SNOW FOR THE KLONDIKE HIGHWAY FROM TWO SYSTEMS…

reaching up to the Klondike Highway. Cooler temperatures aloft

the towns of Skagway and Haines during the afternoon and early
evening hours. Warming temperatures Monday night along the
Highways will result in diminishing snowfall accumulations. The
system will depart on Tuesday.

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Haines Borough and Klukwan.

* WHEN…From noon Monday to 3 AM AKST Tuesday.

along the Haines Highway. A brief period of accumulating snow
during the late afternoon or evening hours may be possible for
