– At 1029 AM AKST, the webcam along the Anchor River continued
to show high water and minor flooding from an ice jam. The
ice blockage has moved downstream, but continues to impound
water behind the jam and flood Anchor Point Road. With the
jam migrating slowly downstream, water levels will likely
fluctuate throughout the day, continuing to flood the roads
in the area.
– Flooding continues to impact the Anchor River area. Residents
should monitor river levels closely, obey road closures, and
use caution when approaching flood waters.
