A narrow but brief band of heavy snow will move across Newton and
Jasper counties through noon CST. Though the band of snow will
last for 15 minutes or less at any given location, visibility
will fall under one half mile and winds will gust as high as 30
mph. Prepare for rapidly changing conditions if traveling in the
area late this morning.
