Winter Weather Advisory issued January 15 at 1:49PM AKST until January 17 at 12:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

StormPrep

* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph will reduce visibility to 1/2 mile or less at times.

* WHERE…Yukon Delta Coast and Lower Yukon River.

* WHEN…From 9 PM Thursday to noon AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
